Do you accept walk-ins?
I am currently seing patients by appointment only. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Before your first appointment, you will be prompted to complete your new patient paperwork online. During the appointment, I will review your medical history, conduct an exam, and administer your initial treatment, typically consisting of therapeutic massage, chiropractic adjustments, and lifestyle or exercise recommendations to expedite your healing.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is the manipulation of a joint administered with hands or special tools to restore joint motion lost to pain, inflammation, repetitive stress, sprains/strains, muscular imbalances, etc. In many cases, adjustments can also provide significant pain relief, allowing you to get back to doing the things you love quickly, safely, and affordably.
Why do adjustments make a popping sound?
A "cracking" or "popping" sound is often heard when an adjustment is delivered because the movement created by the adjustment changes the pressure in the joint, forcing gases trapped in the joint space to be displaced.
How often should I get chiropractic care?
Most patients see drastic results in 3-5 sessions. However, your recommended frequency of care depends on a variety of factors.
If you're recovering from an injury or chronic pain, you may benefit most from sessions once or twice weekly to ensure your recovery stays on course. On the other hand, if you don't have pain or injury but love the way chiropractic makes you feel, you can probably enjoy chiropractic care as often or as little as you like.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. Operating as a "cash only" practice allows me to provide you with the most effective individualized care while keeping my rates affordable. Currently, I accept payment via credit or debit, cash, Cashapp, Venmo, and Zelle.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24-hour notice for all cancellations. Late cancellations will be charged a fee equal to 50% of the reserved service to the card on file. No-shows will be charged a fee equal to 100% of the reserved service. Patients who arrive more than 10 minutes late will be considered no-shows.
These policies are in place to protect my time as a small business owner and hold patients accountable for their health goals. If you are running late or need to reschedule, please let me know ASAP.
